Members of the Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse Society attended the Alpena, Michigan Lighthouse Festival October 11-13th. This is the nation’s largest lighthouse festival. It brings together many local and national lighthouse restorations and support groups and draws lighthouse enthusiasts from throughout the United States.

Capt. Ron and Judy Burkhard set and staffed a display booth representing the lighthouse and the society. The PABLS works continuously to promote preserve and restore the lighthouse buildings and history.
