Volunteers
from Comcast and the Pointe aux Barques Society have
helped the Society to complete many projects over the
past two years. On the "Comcast Work Day" these
volunteers provided close to 1,000 work
hours in 2005 and 2006. Money for these projects
were made possible by two grants from Comcast totaling
$2,200. Donations from individuals and by visitors
to the lighthouse provided funds for the heating and
cooling project and other restoration work. Many
more hours were donated by Society volunteers throughout
the two years to complete many projects. The
Society wishes to thank all of the volunteers and donors
for providing the time and money to complete the projects
listed below.
